Gone Shopping…

To reward myself for the half assed effort I put into organizing my inventory I went shopping! I perused OnRez in my quest to find a belt and gloves and I hit pay dirt. The belt is from NanaCraft and is full of sculpty goodness. The gloves are from Sinistyle and they come with a ton of options from long fishnet gloves, chipped black nail polish, finger tape and spiky arm bands and sculpty bits. I modified the gloves so the fishnet wouldn’t show for this particular outfit. Hooray for gloves and belts. The shoes are the much blogged Urban Bomb Unit Pornstars. I’ll admit, I didn’t love them at first because they were a beast to fit properly.. and I still wish the upper part resized separately from the bottom part because it’s still a little big… but overall, they are growing on me. I can’t hate anything that has a zillion color change options. :D

Also shopping related, Imperial Elegance is having a 50% off store cards sale!! And Sai’s new Vogue poses are really awesome!! :D

WoTLK Screenies Part 1

I don’t have quite as much time to devote to the Beta as I was hoping, but I will risk pixel life and limb to go take cool screenshots at the very least since my input on content will be woefully lacking. And anyways you can get content news at places like mmo-champion.com. Screenshots are what I do. I am planning on doing a little Frappage of the Battle for Light’s Hope Chapel if I can ever manage to log on again while it’s going on.  WoW crashed shortly after that last screenshot.  But onto more Death Knight stuffs!

Inventory woes

What on Earth possessed me to try and organize my inventory?! *tears hair out*  I thought my inventory was a blackhole of horribleness in WoW where I routinely am forced to purge stuff because I’m out of bag space…. that is NOTHING compared to having what amounts to an unlimited bank in SL…. which means I have every landmark, notecard, bald base, what’s it, and freebie I’ve ever managed to come in contact with.  My inventory is like playing Katamari… I just steam roll and collect.  And let’s not even get into the horror that is my textures folder.  It’s amazing I find anything in that mess.

I wants

I’m feeling lazy… so I thought I’d ask everyone where you guys go for such items.

I want gloves, kinda hip, grungy, ripped, dirty gloves.  No opera gloves or ball gown gloves.  Short gloves preferably.  Fingerless a plus.

I want belts!  Any kinds of belts.. belts with doodads, belts with bullets, belts with monkeys.. anything goes really.  I like belts. :D

Give me your eyes

***Eyes are no longer available, Miriel has been closed***

I went a bit nuts at Miriel. And I’m already planning a return trip because I need some red/orange eyes to add to my collection.

Edit: Weird, I just noticed that I didn’t exactly say anything about the eyes!  Ok, they are absolutely gorgeous and awesome and uber lovely.  I keep logging in just to look at my eyes. :D

On a semi-related note, did you know that eyes are the most mentioned body part in most genres of music? Hands were next on the list. I rather like music that mentions those two parts in a very odd or creepy way which has nothing to do with romance or love.

Change of Scenery

I needed a change of scenery… I’d already been considering either building myself a new house (bad idea) or buying a new prefab (good idea) just to shake things up. Yeah, I’m boring, that shakes things up for me. Anyways, I saw this amazing prefab from Alice’s Garden over on Virtually Dressed so I pretty much insta tp’d over there to check them out. All of them were so awesome, I bemoaned my lack of land since just looking at most of them I knew I couldn’t fit them on my teeny plot. But luckily, the Garden Shed was just right. I have to say, I’m a fan of worn looking textures and the ones used on these prefabs are particularly awesome. The shed is no mod/no copy but for the price (L$ 199) and cuteness, I totally was willing to overlook that and now that I’ve got it set up, I just love it… and I got to finally use my CSR gifts from HPMD and MilcaHolic which just didn’t quite go in my last skybox. Yay!

Vector

I was kinda bored so I tried my hand at creating a vector image based off that profile image I posted earlier.  I’m still learning the ins and outs of vector stuff, this is just my second attempt at one.  Just thought I’d share. :)
