End of an era

TL;DR: No Halloween Hunt this year.

Calling my Halloween hunt years an era has some serious delusions of grandeur but I know there were a few people out there that enjoyed it and that’s why I kept doing it. Even in some of the worst times of my life I managed to do the hunt. And it absolutely wrecks me to not do it this year. But 2020 is a special kind of dumpster fire. And, frankly, SL just has left me in the dust over the past few years. I love creating and skins and fun makeups but it’s so damn overwhelming having to figure out all the changes from the last time I made shit. It sucks the fun out under the best of circumstances but it’s just too much to deal with this year. So, anyways, hope you all are hanging in there. See ya around.

{Frick} Halloween Dollarbie Hunt 2019

It’s that time again! The Halloween Hunt manages to show up for one more year! If you’re an oldbie, you might find this year’s makeup familiar. It’s a riff on a skin I did for a Twisted Hunt ages upon ages ago called ‘Til Death. I always wanted to revamp it as a makeup applier and finally decided to do it. So this year you get this makeup in 9 colors. Each color comes with an all in one HUD that includes Catwa, Omega, Lelutka, Genus, AK, LAQ & Vista appliers as well as a system layer for bakes on mesh. As always, each color is L$1 making the whole fat pack a scant L$9 if you want them all. The Hallow color (orange/black) will be exclusive to the hunt and won’t be available again. The hunt officially starts October 1st, 2019 but…… it’s up now so feel free to pop by and get your hunt on. Happy Halloween!

Valentine Heart Stocking Appliers

I would have advertised these sooner but my little dog has been sick. I’m currently cuddling her while waiting for her vet to call back with blood work results so I figured now is as good a time as any to take my mind off things. As the two people who follow me might have gathered, dogs have been my kids for all my adult life and man is it a gut punch when one gets sick. My current dog is not even three years old yet but oof, she’s had a lot of health trouble that we’ve had a hard time pinning down. I’d love any good vibes and thoughts and whatever else you can send our way. <3

Holiday Stocking Appliers

I’m back… sorta! I got a new computer during Black Friday! I’ll have to sell a billion dollarbies to pay it off but at least I got a bargain. Unfortunately, I’m still having near constant migraines so that’s putting a damper on well, everything ever. But I had a to take the new rig for a spin and made a couple of festive stocking appliers.

Phew, this one is a beast. I’ve been working on this makeup off and on all summer and it kinda grew out of control as most of my projects do. But it’s finally here and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out and hope you all like it! It’s a bit more expensive than my usual offerings but you get a TON of stuff. Also, the makeup colors look great on very light and very dark skin tones and most everything in between! Annnd, if you have a LAQ head you can mix and match because LAQ’s heads support multiple tattoo layers! Let me know if there are other heads out there with that capability as LAQ is the only one I own that does. On to the details!

Spring Dream Nail Polish Appliers

It’s over 100 degrees here so I totally failed on getting these out during actual spring, but better late than never.

This set of perfectly pastel nail polish appliers includes appliers for SLink, Maitreya & Omega. You get 48 polishes total, 8 styles in 6 colors for L$99. I’ve also got a wearable dollarbie demo that has each style in the rainbow of available colors. They are both available on the Marketplace and in my shop.

The SLink appliers applies the nail polish to both fingernails and toenails simultaneously. The Omega appliers will apply to any compatible mesh nails. The Maitreya appliers apply fingernails and toenails separately and the french tip styles include an option for short and long nails.

First up, I decided to expand the color range of my hunt prize for the DollHouse hunt back in November.

Dolly Makeup – 7 colors in light and dark versions to work with an array of skin tones. Each makeup comes in 3 versions, Makeup Only, Lipstick Only, and Makeup+Lipstick. Includes Catwa, Lelutka, Omega, LAQ & AK appliers as well as system tattoo layers.

Lovely Eyes – 7 colors in the pack. Includes Lelutka, Catwa & Omega appliers. The Lelutka & Catwa appliers allow you to apply colors individually to each eye. Also includes mesh, petite and system eyes.

Next up, I’m re-releasing my Halloween Hunt items after a few requests to do so. I did update the appliers a bit with a new all included HUD but the old ones have the exact same textures so if you picked these up during the hunt, you don’t need to purchase them again.
