New head, who dis

Yeah, a tired joke for a tired time.

I picked up Lelutka’s Lilly when it was a freebie back in December. I meant to post this back then but never got around to it, my bad. Anyways, I’ve wanted a Lelutka head so I could have a fully operational head to test stuff and play around with but I’m very cheap and the last time I shopped a million years ago the faces were a little too, I don’t know, kinda angry looking for me. Kudos to Lelutka for making this generous gift available and hopefully you all caught it when it was free. Fully loaded, with a cute (albeit eurocentric) face? Nice. I did some minor tweaking to the included shape to better suit my skin without having to mess with it in PS and also I am lazy. Toss on some lovely horns, a fantasy skin tone and gorgeous eyes and I’d say my avatar is feeling pretty Fricka-y.

End of an era

TL;DR: No Halloween Hunt this year.

Calling my Halloween hunt years an era has some serious delusions of grandeur but I know there were a few people out there that enjoyed it and that’s why I kept doing it. Even in some of the worst times of my life I managed to do the hunt. And it absolutely wrecks me to not do it this year. But 2020 is a special kind of dumpster fire. And, frankly, SL just has left me in the dust over the past few years. I love creating and skins and fun makeups but it’s so damn overwhelming having to figure out all the changes from the last time I made shit. It sucks the fun out under the best of circumstances but it’s just too much to deal with this year. So, anyways, hope you all are hanging in there. See ya around.

{Frick} Halloween Dollarbie Hunt 2019

It’s that time again! The Halloween Hunt manages to show up for one more year! If you’re an oldbie, you might find this year’s makeup familiar. It’s a riff on a skin I did for a Twisted Hunt ages upon ages ago called ‘Til Death. I always wanted to revamp it as a makeup applier and finally decided to do it. So this year you get this makeup in 9 colors. Each color comes with an all in one HUD that includes Catwa, Omega, Lelutka, Genus, AK, LAQ & Vista appliers as well as a system layer for bakes on mesh. As always, each color is L$1 making the whole fat pack a scant L$9 if you want them all. The Hallow color (orange/black) will be exclusive to the hunt and won’t be available again. The hunt officially starts October 1st, 2019 but…… it’s up now so feel free to pop by and get your hunt on. Happy Halloween!

Valentine Heart Stocking Appliers

I would have advertised these sooner but my little dog has been sick. I’m currently cuddling her while waiting for her vet to call back with blood work results so I figured now is as good a time as any to take my mind off things. As the two people who follow me might have gathered, dogs have been my kids for all my adult life and man is it a gut punch when one gets sick. My current dog is not even three years old yet but oof, she’s had a lot of health trouble that we’ve had a hard time pinning down. I’d love any good vibes and thoughts and whatever else you can send our way. <3

Blahhhh

I had a crummy week. I ended up in urgent care after a month of trying to tough out what I thought was a migraine. I did have one hell of a migraine but turns out there’s more going on under the hood than I was aware of. Joy. I’m feeling mostly okay now but I’m about to have to embark on a battery of doctor visits in the near future that are filling me with dread. And to add insult to injury my ancient computer decided to show it’s age. The main problem is a dead video card but the whole rig is a dying horse I’ve been riding as long as I could. We chucked an old borrowed video card in there and I can, at least, pop into SL to do the most basic of things. But, everything looks like trash making SL nigh unplayable. So, unfortunately, I’m AFK for now.

Glorious Horns

Spotlighting some newness here at the end of April. First up, horns, glorious horns! These amazing horns come from a collab between Aikea Reiko & Selos Dae and are currently available at the Fantasy Faire. There are a billion options and you can tint every option to further customize to your heart’s content. Next up, Sakuradawn Lei is back and has a new pose shop named Ex-Posed where she has a bunch of fun bento poses! I love how the hands look (especially with the crazy long nails from EMPIRE) in this particular pose from the Cassie set. I also appreciate that she does mirrors of all poses. And last up, me! I’ve made some new nail polish appliers that I hope to have available everywhere soon! And I’m also tweaking some non-human skin tones (like this pic’s deep teal) for an eventual release.. maybe.. hopefully.
