The new coats and pants from [][]TRAP[][] are made of pure win. Actually everything made by Selos Dae is made of pure win. In other news, Ruina Kessel continues to indulge my horn fetish with amazing new horn styles and ellantha Larsson updated my most favorite piercing ever. <3

I should mention that this snapshot took an obscene amount of time to make between disappearing sculpties, my being stupid and SL being an ass. But here it is, I hope it does the content justice.

Today’s post will consist of mostly random ramblings. Beware.

Everyday brings some new wackiness with it. I swear, not a day has gone by that I didn’t log in and my neighbor hasn’t done something absolutely effing nuts on his property. *sigh* Today it’s 6 10x10x10 cubes set to glowing. Awesome. And of course, this behavior extends to a whole different set of neighbors where I have my store. Gotta love the ginormous stone wall they built within microcentimeters of my property. Geez. But at least it’s somewhat ascetically pleasing compared to glow cube over by my personal abode. >.< I wonder what is about mainland and the no rules that just makes people go crazy with the junk. Ok, that’s my rant for today.

I love Deviant Kitties hair. LOVE. I have more DK hair than other brand and I keep going back for new styles all the time. Helyanwe Vindaloo really has a gift at making the most freakin’ fantastic hair. I picked up one of the new styles, Izzy, today and I aboslutely love it. The hairstyle comes with a little color change bow which is adorable and also has a color change coon tail extension in it that kinda lets you spice it up. Yes, this is my new favorite hairstyle.

Drowiness

Drowiness.. not to be confused with drowsiness.. which I am suffering from right now. I found out just how difficult it is to capture a Drow with Windlight. Most settings were way way too dark and you could barely see her.. throw a face lamp on and ugh, washed out and fake. It was hard finding a middle ground while snapping these shots and since they still looked like crap I Photoshopped the heck out of them and now they are passable. I’m not usually a silks kinda person but I wanted a kinda skimpy something for my Drow to wear that wasn’t a bikini or typical lingerie and silks kinda tread the fantasy line just enough to be usable outside of fetish wear. At any rate, the Drows have arrived and I worked on snapping the ad pics tonight so hopefully I can get those squared away to release soon.. not too soon though as I’ll have to do a major rearrange of my shop to fit them in.. so much so that I may have to close for a day or two to get them into action. Anyways, onto the pics before I fall asleep… and no slurls ’cause I already logged out.. maybe tomorrow.

oOOOooh! I must squeal uncontrollably at the lovely jewelry from Illusions. Siyu Suen released a set of jewelry to go along with the Elven ears and OMG, they are just stunning. I’m only wearing the necklace in most of the pics, but I splurged for the fat pack and hope to work the other pieces into my looks on a regular basis. The pieces are truly works of art. ^^

OMG, the new ears from Illusions. They are beyond awesome. Seriously, I haven’t stopped turning my computer screen over to my husband and going, “OMG, aren’t these the most awesome ears you’ve ever seen???!!?” He agreed the first 10 times and now just ignores me. :P I saw Siyu’s post recently about releasing new ears and awaited them with bated breath. And let me tell you, these lived up to my every expectation and then some. The piercings are gorgeous, the ears are beautifully constructed and the options are glorious. I love all the jewelry color options as well as all the skin tones!! Siyu Suen is truly a genius artist. I look at these ears as pieces of art and they are just a pleasure to wear and look at. Straight out of the box, no custom texture, these ears almost perfectly match the Drow skin I had been working on recently. I had to take her out for a spin to show them off so we went to La Reve. I’m still trying not to pull my hair out when working with Windlight. It’s a love/hate relationship for me. I did end up turning off atmospheric shaders to take a few non-Windlight photos to really show off the ears. On to the pics. I’m pretty much perpetually late to the party and it looks like I’m late to the Wrong party. I picked these capris and top up during the last Wrong sale and am just now getting around to blogging them. But when I was searching for a landmark I found out they are closed ’til further notice which is a bit of a bummer. But I already took the pic so I’m gonna blog it anyways! Gothic Something

I’m an admitted lemming.. I see, I lust, I buy. So today I snagged the Hetty dress from Ivalde. I have to say the dress is a frothy fantasticness. It was fun landing places and seeing the skirt floof out around me. I thought it was asking for a gothic vampire lolita dollish look to be assembled for it and well.. here it is. Perhaps I was feeling darkish today or I just really wanted to wear the gothic ToRiCo jewelry from Kiki’s Closet with something. Either one.

I was shopping around on OnRez.. one of my favorite past times… and I came across a slew of $1L items from a store called [OMFG] and OMFG indeed, they were awesome. I noticed they were blogged over on SL Free*Style yesterday and someone mentioned in a comment that they no longer seemed to be selling the items in world and sadly, it appears they don’t exist on OnRez anymore either. I am super sad because the stuff was freaking unbelievably cool. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw they were only $1L. I’m glad I snatched up what I did before they disappeared. I went ahead and linked their last known slurl so maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll sell their things again soon. Anyways, I built an outfit around the seraphim wings alone. I also modded up another skin with a kinda scarred up, bruised thing to match the steampunk/post apocalyptic theme. I tried bruising up the knees and hands but it was blurry so back to the drawing board with that. And crap, I forgot my piercings and eyelashes for the pictures…. well maybe they would have been excessive. Le boo.
