There’s a new boss in Kara for the Scourge Invasion, Prince Tenris Mirkblood and he drops a pretty sick 2H axe called the Arcanite Ripper as well as a bat pet for the entire raid! My pally was lucky enough to win the axe and I had to make a little video of the cool little extra “use”. :D Too bad they plan to nerf the crap out of paladins soon. Just when I started enjoying playing her again. At least she can still be entertainment after she’s rendered useless. >.<

Moving on…
Yeah that title sounded all foreboding didn’t it? The other night I woke myself up with a terrible cough and couldn’t get back to sleep. And long story short, I haz a new house in a new spot! And for really the first time since I started SL I have my house on the ground! Very exciting. I have a cute little corner plot with ocean on both sides. This really came at a good time for me because I was starting to grow a bit weary of SL in general… with the upcoming WoW expansion pack and Warhammer to keep my gaming time busy I was pretty much relegating SL to popping on for customer service issues. So yeah, woot for new digs!! Also a big woot to Fricker Fraker who made me feel super welcome to the neighborhood. :D

Albino Drake
I was in a pretty major funk today. One of my WoW pals moved out of the country today and probably will no longer be able to play which really, really sucks but hopefully he’ll be joining me in Second Life soon! But before he left we started feverishly working on the new achievements thing that came out in the last patch. After mass hemorrhaging of gold and rune cloth I managed to come away with the Ambassador title and the Leading the Calvary achievement which netted me the Albino Drake which is a pretty sick looking mount. :D So even though I was in a crappy mood, that lifted my spirits a little. And omfg, wtb Headless Horseman’s Mount! Three days worth of farming and NOTHING. *le sigh*
LoTD 10-14
I’m doing a fashiony post just because. I thought I’d try a more mainstream look for a change of pace. It was a bit of challenge to myself to prove that a super pale goth skin and white hair can look chic. Maybe it’s really more my idea of chic but whatever. I am really sad that Truth no longer offers hair in white/silver. Truth hair is some of my favorite hair in SL and this really bums me out. The closest color is Ivory and I pretty much hate it. It’s too yellow, too platinum blonde. Bleh. And it really just doesn’t look good against my skintone. At least I stocked up before they were all re-textured. :( On an unrelated note, I did a fresh install of SL and that fixed all of my glow problems!! Yay! The backdrop I’m using in this picture has glow and shine on it and no weird ghosts! :D Hooray!

!@#$% Glow
Ok, after a little playing around I’m certain that the weird ghosts and other issues are all caused by glow. Here are some of the annoying (albeit, kinda cool) things showing up in my snapshots. Screenshots, not surprisingly, are not showing any of these issues but I didn’t think they would.
This hair has glow enabled so that’s what is causing the ghosts here. As you can see, I am a sad panda because this is effing up all my snapshots!!! >.<

I’ve been bleh lately. Kinda uninspired, bored, and just meh for no good reason really. On another topic, nearly all my snapshots lately are being effed up by that glow ghost blur thing so I haven’t really felt like having to photoshop the living daylights out of every snap. Anyways, this picture turned out pretty okay.. though now I’m annoyed by the hair/hand business but I didn’t notice it until I uploaded it to Flickr and now I’m too lazy to go back and fix it. Maybe I’ll vector it later on, that might look cool. Well I’m rambling now.. bye!

SL Inventory – Yes, it only looks neat on the outside. I’m really fanatic about the outside of stuff looking neat but I don’t care too much what the inner stuff looks like.

Name 3 of your SL pet peeves. They don’t have to make sense and they can be totally crazy, but just name 3 things that bug you and discuss!
1. Ban lines just in general are made of fail. They are an eyesore and they leak through my walls even though they are up next door.. why can’t they just be invisible walls? And also, why don’t they extend all the way up? I’d very much like to keep people from just letting themselves into my skybox. Sure, I realize they can cam in but I’d far prefer them to peep from somewhere else than actually show up in my house. Actually it would be awesome if they could keep people from camming in too! A girl can dream can’t she?
2. People who complain about freebies. Honestly, if it’s not your thing, fine, don’t take it and stfu. I still remember being in a store where the owner had just set out a freebie and people were bitching about it in general chat while she was standing right there! So effing rude. And it was fine quality but it was one of those things that not everyone would be into. Ugh. Is it so hard to just not pick up a freebie if you don’t like it and leave?
3. The camera. My struggle with the horrendous camera are well documented and even though I’m better at using it, I still HATE, HATE, HATE the camera. Hate.
And I’m going to add a 4th because it’s something that just recently starting bugging me… for some reason on this latest viewer there are glow “ghosts” showing up in my snapshots. Like I’ll be near a tree that has glow on it and there will be this weird light thing that will cover my face or something in the snapshot. Very weird and annoying and it’s ruining the majority of my snapshots so I have to stick with screenshots to make sure I don’t get that which is also a pain.
Vengeance
I’d venture to say everyday in SL is a bit like Halloween for me.. I throw on a new costume pretty much every time I log in. :D But Halloween gave me an excuse to make some dark and creepy skins and I know, self pimpage is so tacky, but I <3 the way they turned out so there. And yes, I’m especially fond of these particular poses from Imperial Elegance because they suit my ideas so well.. if you couldn’t tell from the way I only used a few different poses. :P I also couldn’t decide between with or without the blindfold so I did both.

I could probably condense most of my “fashion” posts into “I <3 everything my avatar wears.” I just don’t see the point in talking about fashion that I think sucks. So chances are good, if I wear it, I love it.
1. Zaara jeans are my new favorite jeans. I splurged on the fat pack and it was worth every linden.
2. AlterEgoTrip Svenska has released a whole slew of gorgeous eyes, go have a look!
3. I have a crush on Noam Sprocket and this belt he made.
4. I wear arm warmers in SL because if I went out in arm warmers where I live I’d be carted away to the loony bin. Which, really, would be for my own good.
5. ~momo~ has the most absolutely adorable cheery, colorful clothes out there. <3
In other news I’m still fiddling around with updating my subscriber kisok. I’m pretty psyched that this new update included the ability to give a gift to new subscribers. I’m crossing my fingers this will help cut down on the 1% of people who go all ape shit when they miss out on a freebie. And that in turn will help cut down on how often I curse at my computer. Everybody wins!
