Steamy
I told my husband I had steampunked his avatar and made him log in to see what I’d come up with so we could snap a few pics. Well while he didn’t do much more than stand there and provide some tasty arm candy, I’d say it was quite steamy… until he teleported away to go explore some Star Trek sim. :P I really loved these outfits and I think we’ll be sporting them for a while. I also would like to express my love for OMFG and all the awesome, awesome steampunk goodness for only L$ 1. So cool!

I haven’t been around much lately.. my wrists have been killing me so I’m trying to scale back my computer usage. Which has been freakin’ ridiculously hard to do. I never realized how much time I spend with the computer even in my free time.
Seams have been my nemesis everytime I’ve gone to try to make clothes. I decided to try something easy instead of going for something complicated like a shirt and pants (which I’ve done in the past and failed miserably). So I made some knee socks. And they turned out pretty decent so I put together an outfit to go with them. I had grabbed this cute sundress last month but with all the snowy wintery goodness I held off on wearing it until the virtual snow melted. :P

Ctrl Shift H Challenge
I’ve been meaning to do this challenge since I saw it on Meara’s blog and I finally got around to actually taking snapshots of my place. I really love where I live and I spend pretty much 99% of my time in SL there. Lately my little haven is about the only thing that makes me want to log into SL so I really appreciate having a nice, quiet place to just chill while I have to sort through IMs and notecards. Yesterday I had a crappy day… so I decided to go shopping and I picked up this new hairstyle from Deviant Kitties because it’s fun and cute and I immediately thought of the song “Sophisticated Side Ponytail” by Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head. They are a guilty indulgence of mine and I love that song. Also included in my retail therapy spree was this pair of awesomesauce pants from [][]TRAP[][]. I even bought RL me some new kicks so overall, I’m feeling tons better today. Yay!

Bare Rose Appreciation – A look back
It’s no secret Bare Rose is one of my top favorite stores in SL…. just a trip through my Flickr feed proves I’m addicted. I can safely say no one does fantasy better and it’s always my first stop whenever I’m jonesing for something awesome. Combined with ridiculously low prices and you’ve got epic win. I don’t even think twice whenever I pop in and something catches my fancy like I would if I was just about anywhere else. So when I saw Winter Jefferson’s post calling for a Bare Rose Appreciation week I just had to make a Bare Rose fan girly post.
