Ok, so self-imposed exiles rarely seem to work for me… especially when there are awesome freebies to be had! I popped back into SL to grab this adorable little set which was a generous group gift from Hal*Hina. I thought I’d go hang out at Tempura Island to take a few screenies because It’s so peaceful and lovely… at least it was until some dood decided to land in front of me and leer. >.< Gah. I bolted immediately so I only managed these two shots. But if you haven’t been to Tempura Island, it’s really a must visit, it’s stunning. I’ll also take a moment to plug the super awesome site Beanie Loves Japan which is where I found out about this freebie! Ok, back to my regularly scheduled exile. :P

its really nice.. the island seems very interesting.. I should get back to the Unreal world ;) no self imposed exile here, just lack of freedom for the moment when no one seems to pick up after themselves and I grab a little time here and there..
I really want to friend you in SL constantly, as with many others but I don’t want to feel as though my friendship is imposing on people who need privacy.. as often I find myself in the middle of projects and am very silent for long periods of time myself.. and then when I am on SL… well I am overwhelmed by communications, I suspect you have the same problem often but you still seem able to be productive! I’m going to a gallery tonight at 11pm my time and 2pm(?) SL time.. to see the grand openning I think I will IM a few people to come along and bring some additional eyes and opinions :)

AlterEgoTrip: You can friend me anytime! :D I definitely get overwhelmed by all the IMs and notecards that pile up when I’m offline… kinda makes the SL experience perhaps not as enjoyable as it could be when you dread logging in because there was some explosion to take care of. That might be one of the reasons I’m such a recluse in SL, I’m almost always stuck sitting in my skybox fixing crap. :S That and I’m dorky and shy. :P
Tempura really is a gorgeous build. It certainly makes the most of Windlight. I probably would have wandered around for hours if I hadn’t attracted attention from some random guy. >.<
