Hi everyone! It’s that time again, Halloween Dollarbie Hunt! There are 10 hats to find, each L$1. Here’s what you are hunting for this year: 5 makeup tattoo layers and 5 eyes. The makeup layers, with the exception of the black color, come with a light and dark versions and each one comes with an optional skelly nose/mouth tattoo. The eyes each come with a system version, a mesh version and 2 different Petite sized versions.
In addition to the hunt you can also find a pack of Halloween themed nail polishes for use with SLink Avatar Enhancement Hands & Feet for L$25.

RL or SL, I’m a sucker for a sale so I took full advantage of the winter sale at Sn@tch this weekend. Sn@tch is a steal on a normal day with crazy low prices for fat packs of everything but throw in a sale and you can’t beat the bargains to be had. I’m super sorry I didn’t manage to get to get this post done up when these glorious boots from Schadenfreude were still out for Collabor88. They were from December’s cycle so don’t appear to be available right now but maybe they’ll pop up in Allegory’s shop eventually… I hope so, these boots are just made of lust.
So I’ve been listening to an unseemly amount of Moonface lately and well, Spencer Krug’s voice just does it for me… he could sing the phone book and I would melt, I just, that voice… unf. Yeah, that little random morsel of information had very little to do with this particular look but I happened to be listening to Heartbreaking Bravery while I was piddling about in SL and yeah, there you have it.
I’m swimming in cold meds at the moment. Not gonna lie, the fuzzy headed-ness is kinda nice and adds this interesting dimension to just sitting and listening to music. That visceral reaction to music I’ve always had is so seriously amped up right now and wow. Just wow.
There, I’m done sharing. I really should have put that on a personal blog.

I played a little bit for these snapshots. I haven’t really used in game shadows before because my video card hates them but I thought I’d give it another go and used a modified version of Status’ Dual Projector Box for the lighting. I also added a tattoo layer for that slightly vapid looking open mouth look. Honestly, I’m not sure what compelled me to use it but there you have it. After fighting with my snapshots I finally got two halfway decent ones and called it a day. And because I take forever to actually post stuff it just so happens that I can log this particular post as part of Acha’s Lassitude & Ennui Blogger Challenge! The amazing boots I’m wearing are my newest pair of L&E boots and happen to be one of the several colors available as a special edition release for the Unhinged Festival until 12/15/2012 when they’ll be retired. The awesome ring from [SAKIDE] is also available at the Unhinged Festival. So get out there an try your luck on the gacha machine for only L$ 60 a pop!

*sweeps the cobwebs away* Yeah, I really dropped off the radar there. It’s been ages since I really spent any length of time in SL and even longer since I last posted here… I’m not entirely sure what happened really. I think I stopped posting because I got super into Tumblr and pretty much posted everything I had to say over there… and as for SL, well, I guess I just found myself no longer motivated to do anything so I gradually drifted away. Isn’t it really sad when that happens?
But, I’ve found myself logging into SL a bit more lately, mostly to decorate for autumn. And that required dressing up in a suitably autumn-ish ensemble and wearing these glorious horns from Plastik.
