Halloween Dollarbie Hunt!

Hi everyone! It’s that time again, Halloween Dollarbie Hunt! There are 10 hats to find, each L$1. Here’s what you are hunting for this year: 5 makeup tattoo layers and 5 eyes. The makeup layers, with the exception of the black color, come with a light and dark versions and each one comes with an optional skelly nose/mouth tattoo. The eyes each come with a system version, a mesh version and 2 different Petite sized versions.

Petites

I’ve been vaguely aware of the Petites craze but never really knew much about them beyond the couple of snapshots I’d see pop up on blogs and what not.  The other day I was dropped a notecard about a HUD that allows skin makers to sell skins to modify the Petites.  I wasn’t sure if my skins would even translate well to the little avatar so I bought one to give it a go.  Of course, two seconds after I bought it I realized I needed hair and clothes and promptly went on the hunt for those. >.<  At any rate, the end result of my skins on the avatar isn’t awful and I may look into it if there’s some interest.

Autumn

*sweeps the cobwebs away* Yeah, I really dropped off the radar there.  It’s been ages since I really spent any length of time in SL and even longer since I last posted here… I’m not entirely sure what happened really.  I think I stopped posting because I got super into Tumblr and pretty much posted everything I had to say over there… and as for SL, well, I guess I just found myself no longer motivated to do anything so I gradually drifted away.  Isn’t it really sad when that happens?

But, I’ve found myself logging into SL  a bit more lately, mostly to decorate for autumn.  And that required dressing up in a suitably autumn-ish ensemble and wearing these glorious horns from Plastik.

BBBC Day #6

If there’s one thing I learned after doing the BBBC is that I’m better suited to random, once in a blue moon posts rather than churning them out daily. I’m simply too boring to do regular postings. So I’ll definitely be sticking to my occasional posts from here on out, promise. :P

Today was a free topic for the BBBC so I thought I’d stick with my favorite thing to blog… cute stuff I found in SL.  It’s what got me into blogging in the first place and it’ll be the thing that keeps me blogging into the future. :D

There’s a really neat event going on right now called Etheria that is featuring some awesome jewelry designers as well as clothing designers.  I picked up some goodies from Lolapop! and Blue Blood and they are adorably cute.  If for no other reason, I highly suggest hopping by just to see the beautiful build.  Etheria runs until the 20th.
