Faded Sky

I hate hot weather so basically as soon as it gets over 80 I feel like I’m going to spontaneously combust.  Thus I’ve unofficially deemed it summer in my part of the world. Which means it’s only going to get hotter from here on out which makes Fricka a sad horned demon thing.

With my lamentations about weather aside I’ll get on with the blog. Ruina Kessel of the newly rebranded Devae. has released some awesome mesh camis that would be perfectly at home in my present climate. I wish I had one irl right now. The cami comes in about a billion delicious color combos and I was colorstruck trying to pick a favorite but a quick trip to the Arcade landed me this pretty teal hair from Exile and it matched great with the Faded Sky color combo and boom, a look was born. I also modded up a pair of Khor feets from [europa] to match. I’ve mentioned it before but I absolutely adore that [europa] includes a blank texture to make for easy modding.

Now I’m going to go crank the A/C and sip a cool beverage.

I’m in love with these awesome ears from [europa] and loving even more that the amazing creator included a texture to mod.  I’m able to get an almost perfect match to my skins!! <333

I’ve been working on making appliers for the SLink hands and feet to match new skins I’ll be releasing next month and figured I’d show off my progress.  I really, really love that Siddean Munro made a developer’s kit available to creators.  Being able to match up my skins to her amazing feet and hands is just super neat.  And getting to pair up those awesome feet with equally awesome shoes from Lassitude & Ennui makes everything even more awesome.

Little Yellow Riding Hood

If you’ve managed to keep up with my sporadic postings over time, you know I’m a huge fan of Ruina Kessel.  I love her creations to pieces!  Ruina recently released a set of boots that are awesome!  She has several color sets available from basic to wild.  The boots use a HUD to allow you change the colors of the main boot and heel/sole/toe separately to create tons of different color combos!  I went with a summery combo of sun/grapefruit to match the cute yellow hooded cape from :) BCC’s gacha at The Arcade.

Urban Drow

RL or SL, I’m a sucker for a sale so I took full advantage of the winter sale at Sn@tch this weekend.  Sn@tch is a steal on a normal day with crazy low prices for fat packs of everything but throw in a sale and you can’t beat the bargains to be had.  If you hurry, you might still be able to catch it before it’s over tonight 2/4.

I felt like this punkish look was just begging to be worn by a Drow, so there you have it.
