Happy Easter!

A little bit early.. but I’m in a bunny mood today. I ended up looking kinda Easter Bunny meets the 80s. I must have been channeling Twisted Sister when I made that makeup lol. I went crazy at Honey Kitty…after getting the gray leggings as a group gift I had to go out and get another color, they are just adorable. And how can I be super adorable without a big poofy skirt and a spoon filled with frosting? I think my teeth hurt just looking at all that kyoot. On an unrelated note, I’m getting a new graphics card this weekend so hopefully I’ll be able to actually use WindLight! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself! *jumps around excitedly*

I’m an admitted lemming.. I see, I lust, I buy. So today I snagged the Hetty dress from Ivalde. I have to say the dress is a frothy fantasticness. It was fun landing places and seeing the skirt floof out around me. I thought it was asking for a gothic vampire lolita dollish look to be assembled for it and well.. here it is. Perhaps I was feeling darkish today or I just really wanted to wear the gothic ToRiCo jewelry from Kiki’s Closet with something. Either one.

I was feeling cheery so here’s the look I put together. I am loving the new hair from Gritty Kitty! The little bow is just too cute! And o.m.g., the chucks from Akeyo are just the most awesome thing. I love the billion color change options and they are adorable. Chucks are my favorite RL form of footwear so having such a versatile pair in my wardrobe in SL is super fun. Get used to seeing them ’cause they make me happy. ^^

I was shopping around on OnRez.. one of my favorite past times… and I came across a slew of $1L items from a store called [OMFG] and OMFG indeed, they were awesome. I noticed they were blogged over on SL Free*Style yesterday and someone mentioned in a comment that they no longer seemed to be selling the items in world and sadly, it appears they don’t exist on OnRez anymore either. I am super sad because the stuff was freaking unbelievably cool. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw they were only $1L. I’m glad I snatched up what I did before they disappeared. I went ahead and linked their last known slurl so maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll sell their things again soon. Anyways, I built an outfit around the seraphim wings alone. I also modded up another skin with a kinda scarred up, bruised thing to match the steampunk/post apocalyptic theme. I tried bruising up the knees and hands but it was blurry so back to the drawing board with that. And crap, I forgot my piercings and eyelashes for the pictures…. well maybe they would have been excessive. Le boo.

I change my eyes in Second Life the way I do my hair, clothes, skins, etc. That is to say, several times a day. I’m also a lemming. I will follow someone with something cool off a cliff any day. I’ve been lemming eyes from Glanz ever since I saw them on Sai Pennell’s blog. I debated, and I debated. $300L for a pair of eyes is pretty freakin’ steep imho. But I finally couldn’t resist the pull any longer and gave into my lemming urges. And well, I have no regrets. No srsly.. no regrets. They are really, really pretty. Best of all is that, even from far away, you can see the color of my eyes. I went with the green since they seemed to be the brightest color out of the ones available.

Glammy

I’ve been gross ill for a few days.. which translated to wearing the rattiest sweats I own. So since I don’t see myself leaving home for a few more days.. especially not dressed up… I decided to play dolly and dress up my avatar in something glammy and cutesy. I fiddled around with creating a shape from scratch and well.. it still needs major tweaking. I wanted a shape with slightly more pouty lips but I still wanted the huge anime eyes I’ve grown to love. Hips were by far the hardest thing to get right for me, hence the dress. And what a dress… I love this dress. Purple. Tweed. Metallic Gold Ribbon. Swoon. It’s probably a good thing for my wallet that none of these clothes are available irl. Well my cold medicine is making me disjointed, so I’ll wrap it up. I don’t think I’ll ever be accused of providing useful content here. :P
