Closing Time

Empty Shop

I closed my little shop in SL today and I guess I’m taking it a bit harder than I had anticipated, in fact I’m a little heartbroken.  I really didn’t think I’d get so emotional over it until I was pulling everything down and staring at an empty shop.  That little shop was pretty much the main thing that kept me in SL and without it I’m feeling quite empty.  So I’m going to take a hiatus from blogging.  I really wanted to finish the 52 Weeks of Color Challenge but I just don’t have it in me to do it right now.  Maybe I’ll pick it back up later.  I just don’t have any desire to be in SL right now. :(

Three Oranges

Today I’m wearing orange to bid a fond blogging farewell to my favorite SL fashion blogger extraordinaire, Achariya.  Her blog has been a source of inspiration for me since I came across it soon after starting to play SL in late ’07.  I’d like to credit her with my staying in SL because her blog showed how much more SL had to offer besides the skank look I’d mostly been finding up to that point.  Acha has such an adventurous sense of style that I couldn’t help but fall in love with.   Thank you for sharing your SL with the world Acha and best, best wishes to your future blogging endeavors!! <333

Week 18 & 19 of Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color Blogger Challenge are Ecru and Umber.

Dragon Age 2 is out and that means I’m once again afflicted with fangirl obsession syndrome which means each and every free second I have I’ve spent playing, modding and gabbing about it. It is such a good game I can’t even begin to start to tell you how amazing it is. It’s my excuse for smooshing two colors into one week again. I’m not a huge earth tones person so these two colors were really difficult for me. But, this dress from Silent Sparrow has them both so yay!

Week 16 of Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color Blogger Challenge is Teal.
I admit it, I love impractical fantasy ‘armor’.  Chain mail bikinis, ridiculously revealing mage robes, skin tight rogue leathers, all of it.  I’m of the notion that various magical enchantments are really what’s protecting my character.  Not that I don’t think being clad in a full set of plate armor isn’t also totally sexy, because it so is, but I do have a weakness for skimpy armors.  There, I said it, I feel better.
